How it works

One song in, two tracks out.

  1. 01

    Upload your track

One audio file: MP3, WAV, M4A or FLAC, up to 10 minutes and 143 MB.

  2. 02

    See the price

Jinova reads how long the track is and shows the price. Nothing runs until you approve it.

  3. 03

    Jinova separates it

The singing goes to a vocals track, and the music without it to an instrumental track.

  4. 04

    Preview and download

Play the original, the vocals and the instrumental in the console, then download each track as MP3 or FLAC.

Uses

Where it helps.

Any time you need a song's vocals and its music as separate tracks.

Instrumental versions

Take the singing out of a track to get a version with the music only.

Vocal practice

Hear the vocal on its own to learn a part or check phrasing and pitch.

Remix preparation

Start an edit or a remix from separate vocals and music instead of the finished mix.

Rehearsal

Play along with the instrumental, or keep the vocal as a guide.

Content editing

Use the instrumental or the vocal on its own in a video or audio edit.

Music analysis

Study how a vocal and its arrangement fit together by hearing each one alone.

Rights to the music

Only upload tracks you have the right to use this way. Separating a song does not give you any rights to it, its vocals or its instrumental.

FAQ

Questions about separating a track.

What you can upload, what you get back and what it costs.

What does Separate a track produce?

Two tracks from one song: Vocals and Instrumental. You can play each one in the console next to the original, and download it as an MP3 or as a lossless FLAC file.

What file types can I upload?

Audio files in MP3, WAV, M4A or FLAC format. Each run separates one track.

How long can a track be?

Up to 10 minutes.

What is the maximum file size?

143 MB, the limit the console shows.

Does it separate drums, bass or other instruments?

No. It returns two tracks: the vocals, and an instrumental with the rest of the music. Drums, bass and other instruments are not split from each other.

What happens with tracks that have little or no singing?

Results depend on the track. A track with little or no singing may leave some instrumental sound in the vocals file. A very quiet vocal may come back quieter than you expect, and sparse, acoustic arrangements are harder to separate cleanly than dense ones.

Can I download the results?

Yes. When you run your own track in the console, Vocals and Instrumental each have their own downloads: MP3, and FLAC (lossless).

What rights do I need to process a track?

You need the right to use the track this way. The Acceptable Use Policy in the console does not allow anything that infringes someone else's copyright. Separating a song does not give you any rights to it, its vocals or its instrumental.

Will I know the cost before it runs?

Yes. The console reads how long your track is and shows the amount to approve before the job runs. Nothing runs until you approve it, and you are never charged more than the amount you approve. Current prices and the terms for Jinova Compute purchases are shown in the console.

Is the demo on this page real?

Yes. It is one run of the live Separate a track workload. The song you can play is the MP3 that went in, with only its embedded tags removed; every byte of audio is unchanged. Vocals and Instrumental are the MP3 files the run returned, unedited. The demo song was generated with AI for this page.

What happens to uploaded files?

Jinova processes your files to produce the result you asked for, and you can delete a finished run and its files from the console. What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is set out in our Privacy Policy at /privacy-policy/.
